• THE WALKS

• We meet in the historic and lively city of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage City, at a centric hotel. The journey takes us north through small hamlets, over ancient bridges and large market towns dating back to Roman times. We enter Spain at Tui to continue through Galicia to Santiago. From day 7 we will walk the last 100 km from the village of O Porriño. Those who would like to qualify for the Compostela  Certificate must walk the entire distance from here (O Porriño).

• ACCOMMODATION

•  We stay in 3/4 star hotels, in lovely Pousadas (Portuguese Heritage Stately House), Historic Paradores (National Historical Heritage Buildings) and Pazos Gallegos (Galician Heritage Stately House) all converted into tasty and selected accommodation.

• Extra nights in Santiago could be arranged. Please ask for prices.

• LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY

• The terrain is easy to moderate walking with some hills. We will cover an average of 20 km a day, though shorter distances are always available daily.
